Sheila Willis

Bookkeeper

WillisCIC’s longest-tenured employee, Sheila Willis, came to CIC in 1979 from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago following her graduation from the Illinois School of Commerce in accounting.

At a time when CIC had a different president (Patrick Nash) and even a different name (Community Services and Research Corporation), this native Chicagoan began as a secretary, was promoted to loan officer, then to loan processor, and finally to her present position of bookkeeper. Sheila keeps track of account balances, calculates interest on loans, and creates checks for construction payouts, escrow, corporate expenses and other purposes
