Because property owners have busy and demanding schedules, CIC will offer workshops more than 20 times per year in various locations throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Scroll down for the current schedule of all our Property Management Training sessions.
Property Management Training: The usual format for this course, which offers an introduction to important issues in property management, is either three consecutive evenings, Tuesday through Thursday, or a single full-day course. In either case, participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
The cost of the workshop ($50 paid in advance*, no sales at the door) includes a copy of CIC’s Residential Property Management Procedures Manual, a guidebook providing marketing and management assistance to owners and managers of multifamily apartment buildings.
Single Topic Sessions: We offer sessions throughout the year focusing on specific topics of interest to property managers. See below for the schedule of upcoming single-topic sessions.
Free CAPS Seminars: Offered in partnership with the Chicago Police Department and their Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS), the 90-minute seminars listed below the workshop schedule are FREE. Registration information is provided below.
*Advanced payment is required. Credit card payment is accepted via PayPal during registering. You may submit a check or money order by mail to the address below, or pay by cash in person at the CIC office (exact amount, please).
Due to limited space, pre-registration for all courses is mandatory (so that we can plan for space, and contact you in the event of a last-minute program scheduling issue). Please note that all classes start promptly on time.
