Michael
Bielawa joined CIC in 1985 as Assistant Program Manager
and since 1986 has served as Vice President and Manager of Multifamily
Lending. He is responsible for overseeing the origination, underwriting,
closing and servicing of all CIC loans, as well as supervising
CIC's construction management and REO (Real Estate Owned) operations.
Prior to joining CIC, Mike was the Executive Director of the Oak
Park Housing Authority and Oak Park Residence Corporation,where
he acquired, rehabbed and managed multifamily properties in Oak
Park, Illinois. During his tenure, he was a member of the executive
boards of Illinois NAHRO and Illinois Association of Housing Authorities.
Mike is a former President of the Northern Illinois Council of
Housing Administrators. He also worked in a number of positions
with the Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago.
Mike has an M.A. in Urban Studies and a B.A. in Sociology from
Loyola University in Chicago and is a licensed real estate broker
in Illinois. He is an active member of the Quigley Alumni Association
and a Boy Scout leader who enjoys camping and fishing.
