THADDEUS"Ted" BRZYSKI, Senior Loan Officer
Who says you can’t go home again?
In February, 2002 Ted
Brzyski returned to CIC as a Senior Loan Officer with
a special focus on the housing rehab needs of the six-county Chicago
area.
Ted (whose last name
is pronounced "BRIS-key") had been a Senior Loan Officer
with CIC for almost ten years from 1988 through mid-1998. During
those years Ted marketed, underwrote, and delivered loan commitments
for over 1200 units in Chicago and suburbs. These included a wide
variety of transactions, from small 6-flat loans to multi-layered
tax credit transactions. Prior to Ted’s first stint with
CIC, he spent many years with the Northeastern Illinois Planning
Commission and in organizing neighborhood residents around housing
issues.
From 1998 through early 2002, Ted served as executive director
of the Oak Park Residence Corporation where he was responsible
for the management of over 800 units of rental housing in the private
and public sectors, and for the administration of over 400 Section
8 Housing Choice Vouchers in the private sector. Ted also worked
for Fannie Mae as a Community Development Business Manager in the
Midwest, providing specialized financing for the production of
affordable single-family homes and rental units.
Born and raised in the
Chicago area, Ted has a Masters Degree from Roosevelt University
in Chicago.
