ANITA BUNDZE, Senior Loan Officer

Anita Bundze began her career in multifamily lending in 1971. She joined CIC as a Senior Loan Officer in 1998. The scope of her lending experience includes construction loan servicing, conventional loan servicing and closings, workout and originations for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and conventional lenders.

In addition to her regular duties as a loan officer, Anita directs the efforts of CIC to help the Chicago Department of Housing with HUD's Mark to Market Program, which reduces rents to market levels on multifamily buildings with expiring project-based Section 8 contracts and restructures the debt to support the new rent levels. Anita performs the due diligence required in the restructuring process. Her duties include determining market rents and expenses, assessing the repair needs of the property, evaluating property ownership and management, conducting tenant meetings, loan underwriting and coordinating the closing.
