JAMES LACKLAND, Senior Loan Officer

James Lackland joined CIC as a Loan Officer in 1997. He began his finance career in 1988 with Citibank, FSB. James' experience covers a variety of consumer and corporate finance transactions from a sales and operations perspective. His real estate experience includes originations and underwriting for all real estate types, closing, servicing, workouts, foreclosures and secondary market packaging.

James was responsible for carrying out a three-year initiative that provided 6% fixed rate financing to hands-on developers in Chicago's Auburn Gresham and Chicago Lawn communities. Completed in July 2000, this program provided more than $12 million in loans for the acquisition/refinance and rehab of 582 residential and commercial units.
