Registration is now open for our Annual Neighborhood Forum on Tuesday, May 19, 2026!
We’re excited to once again bring together more than 200 neighbors, local multifamily developers, community leaders, and partners for this important event.
This year’s forum theme, “Keeping it Local: How Chicago Owners are key to disrupting the problem of irresponsible investors,” highlights the essential role local developers and owners play in maintaining a functional and responsible multifamily real estate market. Recent research and reporting also points to a growing concern: large, out-of-town investors continuing to place “bad money into good buildings,” which can negatively impact tenants, property conditions, local real estate entrepreneurs, and ultimately entire neighborhoods. This panel will explore the contrast between local stewardship and irresponsible investment, and what can be done to strengthen and protect Chicago’s neighborhoods.
Our expanded Resource Fair—back by popular demand—will offer opportunities to connect with lenders, service providers, and industry partners, and a complimentary professional headshot station will be available with advance registration.
We are currently welcoming event sponsors. If you or your organization would like to get involved, please check out the Sponsorship Package for available opportunities.
More details coming soon—we hope to see you there!
